diy aquaponics design | Iwagumi Layout Workshop

diy aquaponics design

Very useful workshop, not to mention the S$5 Aquajournal. The workshop is mainly sharing session, sharing what the ADA Singapore learn from Amano seminar during the IAPLC party last year (2008). Very insightful, how to place the main rock and supporting rock, how big the main rock compare to the supporting rock, plant selection for Iwagumi, etc. The worst part would be it make me want to rescape my previous Iwagumi tank...have to resist the temptation...

diy aquaponics pdf | Aquascaping Tools Pouch

diy aquaponics pdf

Too many Aquascaping tools (Sand flatenner, different type of scissors and differen type of tweezers) and wondering how too keep?

Simple, Daiso S$2 "easy work pouch". It is suppose to be for gardening purpose, thus you can get it from gardening section. What need to be done is little bit of sewing to partition the pouch into different compartment for individual tool. You can use either sewing machine or do it manually.

It is come with 2 big pouch, each pouch can be devided into 3 individual compartment. Each compartment can nicely fit one tool.

This is what my finished pouch look a like:

diy aquaponics instructions

I did some workshop few month back at Sun Pet Aquarium. Initially I wanted to make it informal where everyone together making the scape. Unexpectedly many people are turning up which is pretty bad for me who have problem talking to large audience. The idea of scaping together does not work with many audience. Make matter worst I did not prepare the alternative. Thanks to Vincent and Thio for helping filling up the blank, the event end up quite OK.

Below are some of the photos courtesy Simon.
